    Road
    Buses are inexpensive way to travel in Malaysia. Routes are within towns and cities with charges according to distance.
    Taxis- City taxis are metered. The rates are RM2 for the first two kilometers, the 10sen for every subsequent 200 metres. Surcharge of 50% will be levied between midnight and 6am.
    Rail
    KTMB are impressive railway network across Malaysia providing regular passenger services. The trip form Singapore to Kuala Lumpur takes 7- 10 hours; from Bangkok to Kuala Lumpur is about 2 days.
    KTM Komuter- A suburban railway service that runs outside Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya. It provides visitors with ease and speed of inter-city travel within the country.
    Optional to driving within KL there are the STAR and LRT (Putra Light Rail Transit).
    Transits between the KTMB train, Komuter and LRTs can be done at KL Sentral.
    KLIA Express is a non-stop service from KLIA to KL Sentral that takes about 30minutes traveling time.
    Transport with Air

    Some of the international airlines that fly to Malaysia are Aeroflot, Air France, Air India, Air Lanka, Air Mauritius, Air New Zealand, Air Vietnam, Alia / royal Jordanian Airlines, Balkan –Bulgarian Airlines, Bangladesh Biman, Cathay Pacific Airways, China Southern Airlines, Eva Air, Garuda Indonesia, Iran Air, Japan Airlines, Kampuchea Airlines, Koran Airlines, Lufthansa, Pakistan Airlines, Philippines Airlines, Qantas Airways, Royal Brunei Airlines, Royal Dutch Airlines, Saudi Arabian Airlines, Sempati Airlines, Singapore Airlines Thai International , and Uzbekistan Airlines.

    Travelers can take flights from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to major cities and towns in the Peninsula as well as Sabah and Sarawak. Upon arriving at KLIA, passengers are able to get a bus, limousine taxi , KLIA Express rail or rent-a-car services to their respective locations.

    Malaysia Airlines(MAS) country' s own international carrier which flies to over 100 destinations across six continents.

    Domestic airlines such as Air Asia, Pelangi Air, Berjaya Air and Mofaz Air fly popular tourist destinations such Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Terengganu, Pulau Tioman, Pulau Perhentian, Pulau Pangkor, Taman Negara, Kuantan, Ipoh, Penang, Malacca and Pulau Langkawi.
    Transport with Sea
    There are several ports in Malaysia such as Penang, Port Klang, Kuantan, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu.

    Coastal ferries sail between Penang and Butterworth. Many ferry /boat services are available for mainland-to-island and island-to-island travel around the country.
    Fast boats and small river crafts are popular way of getting about in Sabah and Sarawak.

    Local tour agents run sea cruises and river cruises.

    For sea travel within the country there are services available from Port Klang(Selangor) to Kuantan (Pahang) and to Sabah or Sarawak.
