    Sports are a general past time for some to pursue fitness, relaxation, time off tedious and long hours of work. For some sports can turn out to be an exciting hobby and further lead to a career path exploring & expanding their hidden skills or talents in that particular sports arena.

    There are various types of sports in Malaysia such as soccer, badminton, squash, hockey, athletics, rugby, volleyball, basketball, bowling, golf, sepaktakraw, taekwondo, karate, weight lighting, swimming and others such as wrestling or boxing.

    Certain sports can be learned as a hobby thereby don' t require intensive training or trainer to monitor one' s output or progress as it played on a casual cum enjoyment basis.

    For example basketball, volleyball, badminton, tennis, bowling and many others. If these sport are meant to be played among states, country or championships, it would require mastering of skills such as speed, stamina and consistent practice to build up one stamina for the actual pursuit.

    Those interested in horse racing should visit this turf club, where an ultra modern complex provides seating capacity of 25,000 people.

    The club is located near the KL-Seremban highway and just about 15 minutes' drive from the city centre and is convenient for weekend visits.

    Kuala Lumpur Velodrome
    A velodrome is a sporting arena purpose-built for track cycling. A velodrome will usually be among the facilities constructed for major events such as the Olympics or Commonwealth Games.

    Velodrome Rakyat is the 1st Velodrome in Malaysia. Velodrome Rakyat has hosted many National and International Event such as South East Asian Games (SEA) Games 1989, Asian Cycling Championships and

    Asian Junior Cycling Championships 1993, World Cycling Championships B 1997, Track World Cup 2000 & 2001 and Sultan Azlan Shah Track Asia Cup 2006.
