    Location :
    Southeastern Asia, peninsula bordening Thailand and northern one-third of the island of Borneo, bordening Indonesia, Brunei , and the South China Sea, south of Vietnam.
    Malaysia is made up of 2 parts :


    1st Part :
    Peninsular Malaysia which extends from the border of Thailand to Singapore and East Malaysia which is adjacent to the southern part of Indonesian state of Kalimantan.
    2rd Part :
    Divided between Sarawak and Sabah with Brunei country between them.
    Full country name:
    Federation of Malaysia.
    Malaysia comprises of 13 states :
    Perlis, Perak, Kedah, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Johor, Terengganu, Pahang and Kelantan, Wilayah Persekutuan and Selangor.
    The 2 federal territories:
    Kuala Lumpur and Labuan (an island off the coast of Sabah).
    Area which is 32,9750 sq km (20,4445 sq mi).
    Climate temperature:
    Conditions are uniform temperature, high humidity and copious rainfall and light wind.
    Population:
    22 million.
    Capital city:
    Kuala Lumpur (pop 1.2 million)
    People:
    50% Malay, 33% Chinese, 9% Indian, plus indigenous tribes such as Orang Asli and Iban.
    Language:
    Bahasa Malaysia, English, Chinese dialects, Tamil, indigenous dialects.
    Religion:
    52% Muslim, 17% Buddhist, 12% Taoist, 8% Christian, 8% Hindu, 2% tribal.
